Global BIM is the concept of creating and implementing common standards that will lay the foundation for construction around the world. This concept promotes joint learning, collaboration, and mentoring between countries. The goal of global BIM is to create a common digital approach to the design, planning, construction, and operation of buildings and infrastructure.

The idea for global BIM was born in 2011 in the UK. Already at that time, the development of building information modeling technology in the United Kingdom was significantly ahead of other countries. Then the idea of mutually beneficial cooperation with the governments of other countries for the development of BIM all over the world was voiced.

In March 2021, the Global BIM Network officially hosted the first-ever Global BIM Summit. The platform brought together more than 2000 representatives of the public and private sectors from 100 countries.

It is worth that not the most pleasant events of the past two years have accelerated digital transformation around the world. If 10 years ago, global BIM was a ghostly idea, then today, at the end of 2021, this is the near future, towards which the construction industry is confidently moving.

What are we doing?

We successfully create projects for prefabricated structures using BIM modeling in Tekla Structures, Revit Autodesk.

It provides a rich functionality of three- and four-dimensional building models for modeling basic structures.

Our main work on precast design consists of:

• Structural design of precast elements (Dlubal RFEM/RSTAB).
• Static, elements, and joints calculation.
• Tender model preparation.
• Structural detailing, reinforcement of structures.
• WSD preparation, structural drafting and BIM Modeling (Tekla Structures, Revit Autodesk).

We have extensive experience in the structural design of materials such as steel and concrete. The work is being carried out on the following services:

• Design, analysis and detailing of steel structures.
• Structural calculations and 3D modeling.
• BIM modeling of precast and monolithic structures, including prestressed concrete and 3D modeling of steel structures (LOD 200-500).
• Development of workshop drawings (WSD), general drawings (GA) and structure analysis.
