I find a lot of information about trends in 2022 in the economy generally, markets and sectors. Understandably the beginning of the year is the right time for it.

Just a few of my thoughts about the points concerning engineering and construction. Some of them are obvious and predictable.

– The consequence of the crisis in semiconductor manufacturing is not only the expansion of production capacities but prompted the construction of new sites.
– Pharmaceutical facilities, clean room modernization and construction.
– Due to online sales growth logistics centers continue to be actively built and become more automated and green.

In my view what always remains vital and in steady demand is infrastructure – reconstruction/construction of bridges, tunnels, and metro stations. That is less susceptible to fluctuations not least because both private interest and public funds are involved here.
