The BIM 3D model development of a Mining plant using Aveva & Navisworks software based on detailed design documentation.
BIM 4D project planning for linking the 3D Model with the project schedule. Oracle Primavera was applied in the construction schedule design.
4D planning is used for visual planning and identification of inconsistencies in the work and time schedule that were laid down at the design stage or delivery time, installation of the units, tracking the supply of the materials, etc. Through this approach, efforts are aligned around a common goal, which improves safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance. The implementation of 4D allows planners to create more realistic programmes and break down any miscommunication between what is planned and what is executed.
