Structural engineering service
Our principal area of expertise in the field of structural engineering is the technical design and 3D modelling of buildings and structures intended for civil use. These may be constructed from precast concrete or steel materials. PMtech successfully creates projects for prefabricated structures using BIM modeling in Tekla Structures, Revit Autodesk, or Allplan.
Our main work on structural engineering design consists of:
- Tender model preparation (estimation, pre-offer, structural solutions proposal).
- Structural design of precast elements, and monolithic and steel structures (Dlubal RFEM/RSTAB, Idea Statica).
- Static, elements and joints calculation, analysis of the structure.
- Reinforcement of structures,
- Development and management of BIM models for structural projects. BIM Modeling (LOD 200-500).
- Preparation of detailed structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents (workshop drawings (WSD), general drawings (GA), structural drafting in Tekla Structures or Revit Autodesk).
- Project Management: coordination of multi-disciplinary engineering projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and communication.
Precast and Prefabricated Structures
- Precast Concrete Design: Design and detailing of precast concrete elements like panels, beams, and columns.
- Prefabricated Structure Design: Design of modular and prefabricated building components.
- Connection Design: Designing connections for precast and modular structures.
Our team has extensive experience in the structural design of a diverse range of materials, including steel, cast-in-situ concrete, precast concrete, and timber (CLT, GLT, frame)
Structural engineering and analysis from our team:
- Building Design: design of structural systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Foundation Design: design of shallow and deep foundations, including spread footings, piles, and mats.
- Bridge and Infrastructure Design: structural design of bridges, tunnels, and other infrastructure.
- Seismic Analysis and Design: evaluation and design for earthquake resistance, including retrofitting existing structures.
- Structural Load Analysis: calculation of loads including dead, live, wind, seismic, and snow loads.
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Detailed modeling and analysis of complex structures using FEA software.
- Innovative solutions and materials development for structural applications.
